I Want him td depressed i dont know what to do ?o be closer to me its like hes fading away an?

Okay well me and this guy have been going out for 6 month and just a week ago he just stopped texting me and yesterday he told me he wants to get out of this town cause its dumb and hes leaving asap so i was all " your going to leave me" he was all yeah im sorry im already taking a friend" i dont know what to do and i dont know how to make him happy i tryed convincing him to stay and he was all know i already got it planned out in a couple of years im leaving:( please help me
